Hi.I've just got back from my fantastic trip yesterday.
Feeling resurrected now after sleeping for about 13 hours plus another nap in
the afternoon. Lol
Let's jump into the stories...
Day 1
Good spirits and enthusiasm were all that was radiated from
everyone's face as the bus hit its way to destination. After having "nasi
bungkus" for lunch, we went to the nearest Indomaret to buy some snacks,
then played cards in our villa and finally played the so-called Running Man
which 4 of my friends organized. Well, everything was just perfect until my
knee landed unsafely on the ground. I fell off while my friend tried to
piggyback me and this happened in the first round of the game so I didn't have the
chance to continue the rest. Pathetic, isn't it? :( But anyway, I really thank
those who had helped and put much care on me. I love you guys, really :)
Day 2
I was woken up at 3am by the pain of both my stomach and my
knee. Let me tell you sth. One thing that I hate the most about our villa is
that there was time limit for water usage. The water access was disabled before
midnight and wouldn't be available until 7, so we had to patiently wait to take
a bath. Geez.
The afternoon was spent at Dharma Shanti Temple and Taman
Lumbini. Too bad I couldn't kneel in prayer due to the condition of my deep
incision. It was raining heavily when we reached Taman Lumbini, but I loved it
because the whole place looked purely clean and we had to took off our shoes or
slippers, so we walked in the rain with bare feet. Then we cooked soup
ourselves during the night :)
Day 3
We had super fun time at Mikie Holiday theme park. This time
there were more games and I enjoyed it far better than I did 3 years
ago. However, there was still an aftermath. My face turned so red as I got out
from Mikie and until now it's still red. Geez. I hate how sensitive my face is.
No matter how much light-protection cream i've applied on, it still gets red
when I expose myself too much to the sunlight :(
For the dinner, we enjoyed various kinds of tasty roadside
food at some place.
In this last night in Berastagi, we gathered together in
living room, sang along as ANU n Aristo played their guitars. Then we played
cards till dawn, till our eyes couldn't tolerate anymore :)
Day 4
It was already noon as we checked out from our villa so we
directly headed to Tesalonika n tasted the BPK (Karo's roasted pork). Before
going back to Medan, we continued to Bukit Kubuh, taking some class photos with
the scenic view of green grass n mountains. Life is beautiful.
There were many things happening in 4 days, from the worst
part of having disputes between 2 different blocks that never slips away from a
group of 43 people and queuing for restroom, to the best part of playing,
chit-chatting, cooking, and other fun time that we all shared together. This
trip will forever be in the heart of AvantGardists.
