Life goes on

Good morning~
Time flies and it's August 16 already...
What am I supposed to feel?
Truth be told, I'm sort of insincere to finally end my days here with people and stuffs that are already familiar to me, to leave a hometown where you can have more ease in your life with private car and driver ready for you to go anywhere, instead of public transportation and long walks in Singapore. Moreover, my uni is quite far from my apartment, so I'm definitely going to have long rides everyday. Lol. I know it's kinda awful.
But another part of me is getting thrilled that a new life is approaching. Being a stranger in a new town is sth challenging, isn't it? Your curiosity is at its maximum level therefore you're going to learn so much. And of course, this is sth serious. I am not the kind of girl who decides to study abroad just to get some freedom and throw money around, to simply enjoy life by buying what i want extravagantly. No, no, no. I know lots of people are like this, I've witnessed some. Well for me this will be a good stepping stone. Even though I'm not entering a very superb uni, but still, this will enhance my insight of the outside world, to experience how it is to pursue a better life in an advanced country.
So yeah, I'm braced :)
All I hope is that I can quickly adapt to the new environment. And I hope I'll be more diligent and communicative there..LOL ;)

P.S. I'm leaving for Incheon tonight. Will be spending a week in south korea with family before settling in sg. Yep, i'm gladdd :)  Traveling, getting to know different cultures, tasting new kinds of food..they have always been my thing. Haha. So see ya after vacation, alright? :)

Well usually I don't listen much to indonesian songs, but this one had caught me the first time i heard it sung by 2012 Indonesian Idol's Sean.

I think it has strong and touching lyrics.

It's all about independence

New hope
New spirit
New chapter begins

For indonesians, back to 1945, this was the month when the unflagging spirits of our ancestors were heaped up, when they united as one to proclaim our nation as an independent country.
Amazing, isn't it?
Sorry, no offense to netherlands and Japan, but I often wish we were colonized by the British instead of those who exploited Indonesians to work for them inhumanely and left us uneducated. See those Commonwealth countries colonized by the British back then, such as Canada, Australia, Singapore, etc? They are more advanced in almost every aspect.
Geez

Alright, put 1945 behind and let's move to 2012 instead. So for this year, in August too, I'll be an independent lady, starting a new life far away from home. Should have more courage to face the harsh world now, no more being coward. Lol

It's time for butterfly to fly away~

Just a few more weeks to go..
And honestly I'm feeling damn bored here already
Bored with the vacancy..
Bored with the repetition of these unproductive days..

Hell yeah, I'm looking forward to sth new now..

P.S. I've been thinking about sth crazy that I really shouldn't think of and it's becoming such a habit lately. It's just so wrong that I hope it will get out of my system soon.
